WHAT IS CHEERS AND NAMASTE?
After some hands-on research, we've learned that when you combine yoga with boozy beverages and a sense of community, you end up with the ultimate feel-good activity.
Instead of a traditional studio setting, we come to some of your favorite spaces in town to provide yoga with a little twist. Enjoy a beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) during or after your practice.
Our yoga classes encourage you to let go and have a little fun. Appropriate for yogis of all levels of experience. Bring your friends or make some when you get there!
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Valerie Talburt, RYT 200, RN, BSN
Valerie completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Medicine by Tiffany Cruikshank. As a reflection of her training, her classes are focused on anatomical alignment to maintain a safe and productive practice, all while encouraging her students to listen to their own bodies and practicing within their means.
Since Valerie can't seem to make it through her own practice without laughing about her missteps or stumbles, she encourages her students to occasionally take a similar, lighthearted approach to their own practice. She believes that since regular movement is so essential to your life, it should at least be fun!
